STUDENT DATA AND OUR WORK WITH SCHOOLS
Makeosity delivers STEM programs under contract with schools and districts, including New York City Public Schools. When student information is involved in that work, it is collected and used solely for the educational purposes defined in the applicable contract, and handled in accordance with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) where we act as a service provider to an educational institution, New York Education Law Section 2-d, and other applicable law. Student data from our school programs is not collected through, stored on, or shared with this website.
Our research and product platforms operate under their own privacy practices, which are provided to participants and partner institutions directly.
